July 22, 2022 - Rich ruby color, smooth mouth feel. Strong cherry and a little cranberry fruit. First glass was PnP, and didn't have much in the way of secondary notes. An hour later, the baking spices and earthiness I associate with SLH vineyards came shining through.

6/1/2023 Not quite the stellar experience I seemed to have last time, but nothing wrong or different, just maybe a little more muted. Perhaps past its prime? Seems early for that, though.

July 21, 2022 - Love me some Loring Rosella's, and this is a great one.
Earth, mineral, bright acidity, vibrant red tart fruit yet not overly acidic. Nice spice on the finish.

November 3, 2020 - Gorgeous! Darker in profile. Long finish.

  • Maphill01 Likes this wine:

August 4, 2020 - PNP. Ripe cranberry and cherry. Some cinnamon spice. Still primary, but good balance, with medium acidity and tannic structure through to the long sweet finish. Medium+ body. Some heat on the finish, 14.3% ABV. Lively, juicy, but not over the top. Great with salmon.

February 10, 2020 - Sweet rich cherry with slight spice and nice balance
