March 23, 2023 - Practice Blind Papers with MW Students - Paper 1: (Tasted Blind) Mid+ yellow the nose shows a combo of struck match, breakfast punch and coconut. As it was swirled the flavours become more ebullient, releasing toasty, oatmeal, spiced lemon, a hint of vanilla and clove.
A very clean, intense and focussed wine the mid-palate is fuller and riper than the nose suggested. More open-knit, but underpinned by vibrant, zesty acidity. Some exotic flavours but also a hint of bruised apples suggesting some evolution and age. Good length but showing some age. Medium-length closing with a more chalky edge and salted apple and lemon. -

November 9, 2020 - Opened and poured, lightly chilled. Lemon colour. Tropical nose, lemons and limes. The oak is predominant at first, then the fruit develops to show pineapples, lemons. Quite rich, medium bodied and well balanced. Enjoyable.

February 16, 2020 - A generous, rich and typically "new world interpretation" of the chardonnay grape with lots of yellow tropical fruit, and a fair amount of oak with vanilla and butter. However, it's very nicely done with a good, lingering acidity and without excesses. This was the second bottle I had and it was a little bit slimmer and in my opinion, better!
Very good to halibut with a bacon- and corn flakes-crust, risotto and a creamy prawn-sauce.
