September 15, 2019 - In restaurant La Sciara in Keerbergen, Belgium. This is a lovely primitivo. Yes, there is a sweet side to it, but it is beautifully integrated in floral and fruity flavours. Very modest in tannins, it presents itself as a really smooth and friendly compagnon to my veal involtini in tomato sauce. Another great example of the Gioia del Colle area in Puglia.
