July 30, 2021 - Acidic yet refreshing. Better as it warms up to room temperature.

October 25, 2020 - Missing my Sailor Soldiers, and blindly taking instruction from a friendly cat during a warm fall sunset, I decided to bury my sorrows with a good dose of unanimé (obviously translated from French to English as “the anime”).

After initial taste, I put this lukewarm Jadeite of a wine into the freezer for 10 minutes and was pleasantly surprised that out came a dark and handsome Nephrite! There was no tongue stabbing or black crystals, and I started on my quest to collect the 7 highly coveted crystals: oak, butter, apple, vanilla, pear, grapefruit, and lemon!

Long story short, as I nearly finished the bottle, a silver crystal grew from my tears that poured down towards the porcelain throne that I called home for 30+ minutes, revealing that I am indeed the princess of the moon!

Sadly, by finishing the bottle alone, I was not able to save the handsomely tuxedoed Damien from the many evil scruff forces, and I believe I fell into a deep pink hole only to resume my normal life in the morning with no clear memories of the journey I was on.

I really enjoyed this balanced wine, and highly recommend it for anyone who is battling the negaverse (though have since been told that Sailor Mercury highly recommends a bubbly).

November 13, 2019 - Ultra-ripe and heavy oak treatment impart distinct tropical fruit flavors. Enough acid...just enough...for the next year or two. Technically a 'very good' wine by 'international style' standards.

May 14, 2019 - Tasted this first at just below room temperature.Slightly yellow green color and very little nose. Slightly creamy and rich tropical fruit and a little citrus on the finish. I thought it would be too rich for food but the citrus and acid ought to work well with grilled chicken, fish and shellfish.

January 29, 2019 - A surprise. This was very fresh and had good oak with apple and some peach. For some reason the bottle was a little extra large so it wouldn’t fit in a cooler and had to keep the refrigerator.
