April 24, 2020 - (Decanted for one hour)
Deep red colour with a brick red hue. Maturing nose showing violets, forest floor and barn in a rustic and pleasant way. Warmth on the palate showing austere tannins and drying fruit, to some a bit unbalanced maybe, but works very well with a juicy steak. Nice and lengthy finish. This is good now in the midst of tertiary notes.

September 27, 2019 - A few bottles served on the day from Chateau Lanessan’s own cellar.
At 15yrs old this is now drinking superbly, classic and very much elegant wine. Soft leather edge, still good fruit and vibrant. Lacks a bit of depth with leads us to believe that this should be drunk sooner than later but very solid now. 901 person found this helpful Comment -
