September 2, 2023 - Pop and pour. On the nose: caramel, apple, a hint of lanolin, some soft mineral notes. On the palate: fantastic acidity, slate, apple, lemon oil. All the effervescence disappears on the pour, and leaves just a sparkle on the nose and palate. Lovely and elegant.

October 27, 2021 - No formal note. More still than sparkling, on the low end of effusence with its "petillant" upbringing. Rich apple, honey, bread. Good balance and length. Great QPR vs Champagne.

Nov '21 Edit: 2nd bottle (purchased at same time as 1st) was fully sparkling and tasted the same.

October 16, 2021 - Unsure if the bottle was defective or this is the way it is, but there was very little fizz in this bottle. The flavour was very good, very dry and with some secondary character. Lack of fizz spoiled it a bit.

September 18, 2021 - Lovely. Mousse has faded a touch, but lovely quince, soft apple, a touch of lanolin...on the palate: soft bitterness and fantastic acid. Very good.

June 12, 2021 - As usual, this has a rich, honeyed nose with a hint of horseradish and smoky minerality. Rich and full bodied on the palate, this has plenty of apple and pear with a dab of peach preserves. This is delicious, but may have been better a year or two ago. Drink now. 90
