February 19, 2018 - A delightful surprise by the glass(es) at The Modern. This classic Mosel auslese has all of those wonderfully elegant fused tropical flower and Asian/tropical fruit flavors endnotes with a very dry backbone. Unlike those ebullient Christoffle 1990s Urzigers and Erdeners that show honey and cumquat,this sways more to the flint, tight citrus, exotic orange and floral tones.
