  December 31, 2015 - Earthly, flinty, a bit flat. Zero tannins. Too long in the cellar and should have preferably been consumed 3 years ago. Giving it a higher rating since I tasted the potential it would have had at an earlier date. Pity.

  November 30, 2009 - Upon initial opening all the way through the first 2 hours of decanting, I agree with most ratings below, but after about the 3rd hour decanted, it really opened up to a wonderful rich fruit, violets and lush (for a Chianti) finish.

  July 12, 2009 - Considerably better than earlier tastings. At its peak now. Balanced medium length. Nice fruit. Acidity has disappeared and been replaced with a pleasant smoothness.

  December 7, 2008 - Nice but sour cherry fruit. Disappointing length and lack of character. For a Riserva not refined enough but a good solid, young and unspectacular Chianti.
