June 24, 2023 - Red fruit, strawberry, leather, tobacco leaf. Black tea. Tart fruit acid, sour cherry. Medium bodied, tannins fully resolved, tealike powdery texture to the tannins. Jewel like fruit sweetness in the finish. Excellent. 34 year old Chianti Rufina is very much alive.

August 12, 2017 - Double decanted one hour. Served with both seafood and with beef lasagne at Stacey's 57th. Good nose. Some flowers. Palate smooth, integrated. No tar nor leather notes. Still had life. Overall a lovely bottle.
