  March 18, 2017 - I wondered if this was over the would be hill, but it was fantastic--strong black and blue fruit with a mineral/graphite backbone a hint of tannin. More powerful fresh fruit than elegance but very enjoyable. It had a much fresher flavor than I anticipated. I would love to try it again in a few years.

  February 21, 2015 - Smells and tastes as it should. Certainly not the most complex, but charming in a rustic way, especially for Napa Valley. Very good, mostly integrated oak treatment, still rippin' acid, stalwartly structured, appreciable finish. Nice wine! 91-92.
