March 31, 2024 - Popped and poured at the dinner table a few nights ago, and didn't take a TN at that time, so not much here for me to say other than I prefer this vintage of Porcupine over '13 and '14, and I enjoyed this a lot. The ripe fruits are unmistakably CA, but that's not to say it's a Pinot pretending to be a Syrah. Ripe, lifted, red fruits, with a dash of cola. Safest bet is to Drink Now and over the near term. Gut impression score: 92.

October 21, 2023 - Didn’t love this. Showed some heat and volatility on the nose. Candied red fruit notes with some forest floor notes. Finishes better than it starts. Other liked this more than me.
