October 1, 2021 - This wine has held up well compared to some of the other aged Haubs-Barzen Riesling I have bought from Garagiste. It is surprisingly lively for its age, with peach fruit and slate and petrol notes. Still drinking well six days after opening. Fairly long and oily finish.

December 16, 2019 - Pear, caramel, meyer lemon and green apple. A sweet nose with lively acidity in the mouth.

September 23, 2019 - This 25 year old wine jumps straight out of the just opened bottle with lively acidity, delicious citrus fruit, apple, and a mellow sweetness and texture, with nothing old or faded. Very enjoyable with a host of foods. But not as complex or rich as the great Rieslings.
