May 26, 2019 - - Crimsom color with fast forming legs. It's somewhat balanced with a medium body with a medium finish.

May 14, 2019 - Clear, pale intensity, ruby color.

Sun ripe nose with lots of fresh strawberry, rhubarb and black cherry. Some toasty vanilla oak and x-mas spice as well.

Fruit-charged with medium acidity and almost no tannins to speak of. Ripe and creamy mouthfeel where that vanilla oak makes itself present again. Decent intensity to the fruit that is really, really ripe but manages to not fall out of balance.

A classic warm climate Pinot with its ripe strawberry fruit and generous oak treatment. Very direct and not so hard to appreciate. Benefits from being served slightly chilled to make it feel a bit freshe

January 18, 2019 - pale red with some fading on the rim
Nose is a joyful burst of fresh raspberries - not over ripeness here
Rich ripe fruit on the palate, plenty of freshness, then spicy notes, cinnamon and a nutty round texture in the mouth. Long finish and the fruit keeps going.
This is lovely. 14.5% but carries it beautifully. I think this is normally about £40 retail which is good value for a Californian pinot of this quality.
