September 1, 2012 - There's no doubt this a big Pinot and in typical Todd Anderson fashion old world style with a touch of California flair. The nose has bright red fruits with earth and wet wool, I picture a beautiful lady rancher coming in from the rain. In the mouth it's a bit high on the heat but great dried cranberries, a bit of beef jerky, and dried flowers. Finishes moderately long with a mineral hint.

Great find if you can great it below $50. Certainly an interesting departure from a lot of Napa central CA coast Pinot Noirs and a lot more complex than some stuff coming out of Anderson Valley.

Remember you don't drink the label.

July 25, 2012 - Still tasted great. Didn't nead much air at this point in it's life. Still had anough red fruit and very smooth aged finish.

March 17, 2012 - Drank this at Bern's steakhouse yesterday. I told the waiter that I wanted an aged pinot without having to sell the crown jewels. He proposed this... BULLSEYE!What a huge surprise. Absolutely no signs of ageing visibly, on the nose or palette. On the nose, you would think you were about to taste a textbook burgundy. Very elegant perfume of sweet red fruits redcurrants perhaps). These notes consistently flow onto the tongue. Overall, this is a gem of a wine which represents great value for money.

June 11, 2011 - Black cherry, trawberries, red currants, maybe red raspberry, with some cedar/tannin and black pepper. One of the bolder pinots i've had -- more like a cab. Love this wine. still worth every penny of the $25. great deal from invino.com.
