May 1, 2020 - Still a very fine wine after all of these years. Almost smoky in flavor with smooth tannins and a long finish. Last of a case, written with great sadness

January 9, 2010 - Must have at least an hour to decant/breathe. Plums and prunes with complex mineral notes. Long finish. Tremendous depth shows how good Petite Sirah can be.

August 6, 2009 - Has a pruny, raisiny note. Not delicious.

June 19, 2007 - 85pts is a harsh/thoughtless rating for this wine. This is the kind of wine that you either love or don't really understand what the winemaker is trying to accomplish. It's a massive, new world wine- and for this style, it doesn't get much better.
