Community Tasting Notes 15

March 5, 2022 - Very pale ruby - almost rosato and appears unfiltered
Medium minus aromas of tart cherry/ pomegranate and green herbs with dark florals - subdued but very enticing
Medium bodied - palate of tart and ripe cherries with green stemmy notes and fresh/ dried herbs
Medium tannins and medium plus acidity with medium alcohol and average length
Tannins are quite grippy and green in quality
A subtle Beaujolais - not in your face but quite enjoyable
Drinking well now - don't see any reason to keep this

August 31, 2020 - Consistent notes. Good just a tad thin....

July 18, 2020 - Denne hadde dessverre mistet en del av frukten, og er absolutt ikke noe å la bli liggende i kjelleren. Markant svakere enn Jean-Louis Dutraives Fleurie 2016 smakt noen dager senere.

July 10, 2020 - Was good for the style and typicity, but especially after having some more complex red varietals over the past few days, this just falls short (not that it's a fair comparison, but I'm only human). I'd certainly enjoy a glass of this with a lean pork or fuller fish dish or something, but if this is a "hot" producer in a quality vintage, I must say that Gamay is limited to a "90 point" cap in my book. Very cherry, some cola, maybe some eucalyptus. Acidity was very high and this was clean and easy. Good and liked, but linear.

July 6, 2020 - Perfectly nice Cru Bojo. Decent complexity. Maybe lacking the spice and character of some of the best examples. A tad thin on the finish. Overall a perfect wine for hot summer day.
