  May 8, 2022 - Tawny in color, this has plum, pomegranate and leather aromas. Medium to full body with its share of acidity. Not a big leaguer but the Les Hauts de Larrivet Haut-Brion has its place in the $30 price range. Drinks pretty well right now. NI:3, FI:22, FC:8, B:3, L:4

  March 2, 2021 - Didn't care much for this wine, tasted like it had been filtered with dirty socks. I bought 2 bottles at 20% and I guess I now know why. I do see that others have had better experience with this wine so maybe bottle #2 will be much better, at least one can hope.

  September 13, 2019 - Nose is rather shy but complex, blue berries, vanilla pod, toasted cumin and dried ham with hints of oregano. The nose followed through to the palate which is velvety with rounded structures. Medium-bodied. The wine is still closed. Finish is somewhat chalky and short. This needs a few more years to open up.
