  November 8, 2016 - Can't remember where I got this bottle, didn't even have it in my inventory - Charbono just seemed like a fun choice for leftovers including some grilled turkey sausage, and some loaded up pizza. It's pleasant enough, with modest fruits, a smooth mid palate, and gentle tannins. Went fine with food. Didn't seem over-the-hill. But didn't really have any standout features either.

  September 23, 2013 - This was great, but now in 2013 its past its prime. Still has the dark intense color and lots of berry flavors, but the mouth feel is thinning and getting a little sharp. Drink if you have it before it goes completely.

  January 6, 2011 - Really nice. Very dark and thick. Earthy. I'm in no mood to really describe a wine, but the finish is long, the balance is great. Nice wine.
