  December 5, 2021 - The wine looks purple colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis), plum, forest floor, espresso, cedar, oak and fig. It tastes like black currant (cassis), plum, spice , vanilla and oak with a touch of fresh tobacco and leather.. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

  August 8, 2009 - Purple color with earth, black cherry, and oak flavors. Has a bit of an edge, but overall a nice full-bodied wine with pleasant mouthfeel.

  January 19, 2008 - Excellent, my notes from having a bottle of my own last March stated this was going to improve over the next year and it did - Very dark, concentrated, plum, spice, cedar and oak on the nose, complex/balanced with very good length (90 Points).
