October 3, 2011 - Medium ruby color. Dried cherry and baking spice notes on the nose along with a little heat coming through. Sweet red cherry and strawberry on the palate with a spicy finish. Alcohol also shows up on the finish as well. Acid seems a little on the low side. Overall an enjoyable pinot but nothing special. Would not rebuy.

May 25, 2008 - (Was given this bottle as a gift.) This bottle has a lot more fruit and flavor than my last. A tinge of spritziness at the forefront of the palate is a bit disconcerting - perhaps some modicum of spoilage?? Ignoring that, however, the red cherry and strawberry flavors are smooth and complete. Fruit may be fading, however. I don't believe this wine is made for the long haul, though it is a solid bottle of pinot for the price.
Gave my husband a taste and he found the initial spritziness very disconerting - was certain it was a flaw. ho hum.
