  • Eudemis Likes this wine:

August 17, 2017 - 11.5% alcohol. Good cork, long and dense. From a 50cl bottle. Rich gold colour, of the type that might suggest oxidisation. But no, the nose is pure and fruity (quince); the mouth is better still in that it adds to the fruit a certain amount of complexity and depth. This has the palate-coating quality of the best liquoreux, and a marvellously light long finish, a signature of wines that eschew chaptalisation in my experience.
A very successful Chenin liquoreux, and a repeat purchase.
