September 30, 2023 - Nice medium bodied sangiovese showing a nose of cherry and a whif of old leather. Delicate tannins are grainy, and soften after a 2 hour decant. Lovely palate of cherry and wet leaves, with some soft vanilla lingering in the background. Nice delicate spice finish with good length. Delicious. Give it at least until late 2024 to better integrate the tannins and soften the slight bitter finish.

December 26, 2021 - The tannins have settled and this wine has a beautiful vanilla-cherry flavor to it. Fills out the pallet nicely and drinking quite well.
