February 6, 2020 - IWEG Masterclass Wines of South Africa: Pinotage Then and Now (IWEG, Suite 511, 211 Yonge Street, Toronto): 2016 Kanonkop Cape Blend Kadette was clear medium ruby in colour. On the nose, there were raspberries, sweet tobacco, red cherries, earth and liqourice aromas. The mouthfeel was dry and rather full-bodied, with medium level of tannin and medium-high level of acidity. Flavours of coffee, milk chocolate and mixed berries were present in a medium finish.
