September 28, 2023 - Condrieus and Côte-Rôties of North London (Must & Lees): Some green apple and an interesting scent of exotic candles - jasmine, maybe? Soft, viscous, smooth and seductive, with a lovely finish. Plenty of life left here. Voted the group's third favourite white.

September 28, 2023 - Condrieu and Cote Rotie; 9/28/2023-10/28/2023 (Must and Lees, N1): A medium yellow. Amazing nose, herbal and grassy and an underlying feeling of sophistication and restrained florality that I really liked. Despite being one of the older white wines on show this feels held back, coiled, as if there is much more to come, which would be somewhat at odds with the CT drinking window.

September 28, 2023 - Condrieu and Cote Rotie (Must & Lees, N1): Opens sweet and vanilla-led with notes of peach and kiwi, yoghurt and a fresh oak character. Also a slightly fortified note. It's quite compact and contained right now - a ball of concentration - and should develop in an interesting way.

April 30, 2023 - The first thing that hits you as the honey and then honeysuckle and lilac. Wow! The honey flavor is so intense. I also detect, apricot, peach, jasmine, allspice, and candied ginger. There’s a little bit of white pepper on the finish. Decent minerality and good saltiness (Ellen noticed the minerals more than me). There’s enough acid to keep it fresh. On day, I get less fruit, but vanilla cookie dough (think Puerh tea from Yiwu—almost cotton candy like), freshly cut hay, hazelnut, and lanolin. This is very good. I liked it the more I drank.

February 8, 2021 - Still pale. This is just so subtle. no hint of alcohol. The nose is almost more herbal that broad. The palate is fine and understated. Stylistically a finessed interpretation of Condrieu.
