  October 4, 2018 - Robe tuilée mais encore profonde. Le nez, superbe, est immédiatement expressif. Souis-bois, cuir, notes de pruneaux. Epices, cannelle, puis des épices plus lourdes (encens). Le vin est riche, rond et plein, mais avec une belle acidité salivante. Etonnamment proche d'un beau Bordeaux qui a bien évolué. Ce vin a eu son heure de gloire et j'avais pris une bouteille pour voir, puis oubliée dans un coin. Eh ben c'est très bon !

  January 23, 2011 - My second bottle and not overly impressed by either. No real concentration of fruit and slightly too acidic for what was there.. Better with food, but not the blockbuster I was hoping for.

  Lovely deep black fruit on nose - very ripe fruit - blackberries with a touch of leather. Rise palate - very smooth and velvety but with a racy acidity.
