October 8, 2023 - Dark purple. Stone, blood, dark berries. Edgy initially, but softening after some hours. Still young. Great!

April 21, 2021 - Deep ruby, on the nose blackberry, blueberry, vanilla, slight touch of smoke, wet leaves, forest floor, touch of pepper. On the palate huge concentration, almost overwhelming with fruit at first then the acidity/tannins come to play and the wine comes into balance. Med (+) acid, high very fine and ripe tannins, high alcohol (perhaps just a tad too high), rich, round mouthfeel. Very good-outstanding wine.
