May 28, 2016 - Slight Brett on opening. Strong tanins with very subdued fruit. Let sit overnight before finally opening up a bit.

I had this bottle for a long time, well cellared, not easy to enjoy. Fought it for a day. After 20 hours, enjoyable, but would not seek out more. Do not see this getting better with more age, so everyone with inventory should drink up at hoe, where you can have the time and patience to let it evolve. Definitely not a bottle to bring to a friends or a byob restaurant

June 7, 2014 - This may have been a third hand bottle, so there is no vouching for provenance. Clearly past its prime, this was thin bodied and was marked by balsamic and tomato notes. There was a slight bit of leather, but this was an echo of a wine, with a reluctant nose and a short finish. Expected for a "I forgot I had these night".

December 24, 2013 - Out of Magnum: light garnet showing first orange rims. Nose of leather, tobacco and cherry. The nose itself would merit a higher score. Quite an acidic aftertaste, short, mineralic and tannic. Defenitely much better out of the magnum than out of the standard bottle. Drink - 2020 (magnum), normal bottles now fully mature.

November 9, 2012 - After around 5 good bottles which I scored 89-91 this one was a bit weaker.

Light red, thin in color. Nose of raspberry with a hint of chocolate. The taste is short, dominated by acidity. This wine should be drunk out of large Burgundy glasses. Not big but pleasant. Drink now

June 4, 2012 - Somewhat disappointing bottle, probably near the end of its life. Colour brick red with brownish tint; faint nose of spice & herb. Tasted of warm spice & mint, smooth & silky as expected but no real length. Definitely past its best.
