June 11, 2023 - Blinded. A very delicate and silky expression of Syrah. Excellent balance, but tough it pinpoint it as Juge or even Cornas. Would've expected more density and wildness, but still a good wine nonetheless.

December 22, 2022 - Serious Cornas Tasting: Blinded. Sweet candies, well balanced, some bitterness. Slight modern, touch of wild flowers, bright acid.

December 23, 2020 - Marcel Juge's 2015 Cornas is a clear child of the solar vintage with gobs of concentrated fruit wrapped tightly in a smokey package with a hint of Brett. On the palate the wine is dense and full bodied but still quite primary with a lengthy decant coaxing out flavors of dark fruit and white pepper. A fitting tribute to Monsieur Juge, this final vintage has the potential for greatness but needs time. Drink starting 2024.
