January 5, 2024 - Restaurant purchase and decanted. Started off quite open and rich with pepper, black olives and bacon. Very concentrated. After 1-2 hours it pretty much shut down and was all structure. Long life ahead.

April 7, 2022 - Grand vin indeed. We were pondering back and forth, glad we drank this. Stunning wine. Much too young, but still enjoyable as is, almost Cornas-like in its stonyness, minerality with accents on the black olives and the cured meat. World class - and the last bottle, they had. 97+

April 7, 2022 - Grand vin! So young of course, but 7 years in the Côte Brune from Jamet is just stunning. It opens up with a profound nose of flowers, iron and stones. This is as pure Brune, iron, iodine, burnt soil notes, tightly knit, medium bodied. Persistant, expressive, great balance. Cornas’ish. There’s another 20+ years of life here but if there is only bottle left on the card what do you do? With Niels at Beau Rivage, Condrieu.

March 15, 2020 - WOW, nez de cassis mûr, violette, très très sur le fruit... Nice sappy tannin loads of ripe cassis, very very long aftertaste and loads of potential ahead!!
