March 7, 2020 - I continue to love the wines form this estate. At under $30 from SommPicks, this one offers fantastic value, with superb balance of freshness, drive and texture, with a real distinctiveness and beautifully integrated finish.

December 24, 2019 - Crazy one. At the start lots of apple and perhaps unripe pear. Very green, "acidic" aromas. Pointed, elegant. A bit like German apple wine. But then with time everything starts to open up and widen and smooth out. Took on an almost creamy texture. Rich and supple. What a crazy, great wine.

September 26, 2019 - Dans un style inegalé, les ardoisieres produisent des vins toujours « eau de roche » à la minéralité scintillante et caillouteuse; doté d’un nez précis évoquant un beau muscadet, floral, fougère, iodé, finement citronné (voire pomme verte), il étale ensuite en bouche sa rondeur saline très pure, laissant a penser qu’on suce le caillou avec cet arrière-goût de minéral chaud; splendide! Il s’étire assez longuement sur ce minéral acidulé en tension, c’est assez magique…
