June 14, 2018 - Comes in a squeezable 500ml carton. While the competition is not fierce in this category, it's one of the best wines out there in these new, smaller formats with cheap wine. No off notes and there is actually a touch of complexity with some acidity and very mild tannins. I would drink it over a some wines that get rated 88 or 89s with rough tannins, out of balance acidity and/or thin watery fruit -- although I realize this wine is heading towards the plonk category.

February 27, 2018 - Not as good as in prior years. Medium color, fruity nose. Cherry predominates on the palate. Tastes a little watered down; thin mouthfeel, mild tannins, not much oak. Short finish. At $21.95 for the equivalent of four bottles, this isn't a bargain.

November 23, 2017 - Deep garnet red. Very easy going on both the palate and the nose. Notes of light berries, some spices and dustiness. Low tannins (4/10) and light bodied. Fresh on the palate with berries, spices and a hint of guava in the finish. Medium finish. Drink now.
