April 9, 2022 - LONG day decant, which it needed IMHO.
Ruddy burgundy in color. Full bodied.
Lots of dark fruit, mostly plums. Vanilla and oak prominent. Some baking spice.
Fleshy, grippy, big mouthful of flavor. Taste follows the nose. Medium plus finish. Some graphite. Really nice wine with or without food. Drink cellar temperature. No reason to wait, although wine should go another 3-5 years. Delicious juice.

October 31, 2021 - Christmas baking spice, currants and cigar box on the nose. Blackberry and spice on the palate, fine tannins. Great balance with a long intense finish. Fantastic wine with years left ahead. Thanks Canoehead!

October 10, 2021 - 2nd bottle not as good as the first. But I had to change serving temperature and it was much better after a little fridge time
