October 8, 2017 - On the nose, ripe strawberry, plum, herbs, menthol. On the palate, a touch rustic with black licorice and a mix of cherry liqueur. Almost raisiny, but not quite. Heat present, but not obtrusive.
Blind, would have called a Campania red. Enjoyable, different expression of Grenache.
Day 2 update: added a little weight and smoothed out a little, plus a new punch of blueberry. Quite nice!
