March 24, 2019 - 90m air for this Aglianico di Taurisi. Deep Ruby color. Aromas of black cherry, blackberry, gravel, anise, tobacco and rose petals. Full bodied, with fresh dark fruit and berries on entry, some spices in the mid palate and a warm, muscular finish.

November 15, 2018 - Developed and slightly rustic this Aglianico has the typical big mouthfeel weight and softness but only modest varietal character. The acid is balanced and although quite dry the finish gives a mildly sweet impression. That said at $13 it is a very good value and very enjoyable as a heavier style but soft wine, it is far better than most of the sweet fruit bombs that are so prevalent these days.

October 7, 2018 - Dark. Good aroma and flavor. Slightly tingly on tongue suggesting carbonation but no visible bubbles. Nice acidity. Good with food.
