January 19, 2024 - Red and black berries in the bouquet and on the palate. A pleasant dose of oak and good acidity. Very likeable wine in its early maturity stage.

September 12, 2023 - Creamy ripe berries in the bouquet and on the palate, soft herbs acidity and tannin. Nice and round wine still in its young maturity stage.

March 14, 2022 - Creamy red berries in the bouquet. Herbs and spices as well. On the palate creamy berries and cherries, green bell pepper, butter, medium plus acidity and round tannin. Still a bit too young. Next bottle not before 2023.

October 18, 2020 - Decent for its price, but found this to be a rather simple wine. A very dark and bigger than expected wine at 14.5%. Red fruit, earth, and some herbaceous notes. Some brine like flavors reminiscent of black olives, and surprising alcohol warmth down the throat.

May 10, 2019 - Very dark, reticent in the nose, somewhat herbal and drying in the taste — but I'm sure this is due to its youth. A very well made Canon Fronsac. Needs time to smooth out. Ample glycerin. Alcohol listed as 14.5% — interesting, since as few as 20 years ago 12.5% was considered standard. 85% merlot, 15% cabernet franc. This estate has been in the same family since 1805. Good value.
