September 23, 2016 - Last but best bottle, wish I had more. Nebbiolo grapes, similar treated as the grapes for Amarone.
First, muted nose and palate, needs an hour decant, but then it shows mature attributes (leather, prune), good freshness, everything is integrated now, very savoury. 92 points now with potential for even more. Drink now or until 2023.

May 15, 2012 - Nebbiolo, obviously very late harvested at surmaturité, raised in used barriques. Jammy aromas, overblown fruit, slightly heavy, lacks freshness. Not much fun here.
