August 30, 2022 - Natural cork. Nose of cassis and liquorice, with touches of black pepper and violet. Palate is light-bodied, with concentrated flavour of cassis, liquorice, cola. Has a fine, firm thread of tannin that opens into a smooth finish.

November 15, 2020 - Blueberry, raspberry, black olive, pepper, salty licorice, sage and a bit of some “flowery something”.

    Cheers 🍷

February 7, 2019 - No doubt we are in Crozes! The dress is sustained, almost black (the disc is purple fluo however), damn deep. A beautiful Syrah. The nose is splendid. In these cases I can spend hours sniffing the wine. The aromas are numerous, complex and intoxicating: violets, licorice, strawberry jam, pretty menthol and subtle pepper. A real luxury perfume : I feel like putting my nose on my wife's neck. The mouth now : the attack is clear and fruity. The wine perfectly lines the mouth. It's rich. It's an explosion of fruits, liquorice and refreshing pepper. The tannins are veiled, powdered and totally ripe. Beautiful fruity length that ends with a kick of freshness. Seriously I could drink the bottle alone! This is my junk! I imagined it would be a little wine to drink with my mates but this is damn higher. I am impressed, I love it! It's great to drink now but I'm curious to see how it will evolve. The perfect implementation of the many components could further improve the wine. Be careful though to the service temperature which must be a bit chilly to avoid this feeling of confit quite typical of Crozes, feeling which can be a little unpleasant.
