  December 25, 2019 - Four hour slow ox. Deep magenta color, with slight rim fade. Cranberry, orange rind, birch wood and sweet raspberry on the nose. Silky smooth, tart, juicy palate, with soft tongue coating acidity. Firm, full, medium intensity tannins on the medium long finish. Seems to young to have secondary characteristics appearing...

  Nose:red fruit, smoke, anise
  Taste: red fruit, cola, anise
  Nice round mouthfeel with a good lingering finish with red fruit upfront and abuse on the finish. This has years to go - very lovely windy

  March 30, 2019 - Had company so started with a couple of bottles of this decent Caldwell effort. Light red fruit, ripe cherry and cola in a medium red garnet wine. The wine showed well with appetizer course of hot artichoke dip. The value is not as great with this pinot but a good wine to start an evening with

  January 12, 2019 - One hour decant. Deep ruby color. Blackberry, raspberry, and lemon zest on the rich, somewhat tart, nose. Smooth, viscous palate with nice acidity. Full, round tannins on the long finish. This seemed a bit better than my previous bottle of this wine.

  October 11, 2018 - A wonderful, light and well balanced Pinot Noir. Floral scents on the nose with hints of sage. Pomegranate and blueberry with hints of earthy sediment, fig, white chocolate and raspberry pie in the mouth followed by a balanced acidity with light tannins and a lingering finish.
