  March 12, 2022 - Ripe fruit, dark berry with a subtle hint of cocoa. Stiff tannins fadr quickly to a more ingrained backbone. Does not have layers and layers typical of the appellation , somewhat new world in its style (at least for now, although years mught bring something else out of the rather tight profile). Still, very drinkable now and best with foods that present a little fattiness.

  February 8, 2022 - I absolutely agree with Xscottx's note - feels very New World with ripe, nearly confected fruit, almost a high note of Vielle de Prunes. Hints of chocolate and spice, it felt more right bank in style. It is rather tasty, if not complex or characterful.
