  April 13, 2020 - Interesting. Still a very pale gold in colour. Watery rim - not showing much age at all. Nose gave off some petrol upon opening, and that is pretty persistent, only a little apple fruit on the nose. Palate is pretty awesome, light, with lightly sweet apple and apple pie, still crisp acidity and a nice long finish. Truly interesting wine, that is also qualitatively excellent. Well done. Based on this showing could go another 10 years easy. From Garagiste.

  March 28, 2020 - Mixed bag. This still had a lot of bright, vivacious acidity and plush stone fruit. But there was also some slightly unpleasant vegetal bitterness creeping in. Pleasant enough, but also possibly fading rapidly. (Also, there's quite likely quite a bit of bottle variation at this age. Will have to compare to another bottle soon to see which direction this is really heading.)

On the palate, a suggestion of sweetness, excellent acidity, more citrus notes, a hint of medicinal.herbs and a juicy finish. Paired absolutely perfectly with our braised chicken (lebanese style spices).

  Color: pale yellow gold
  Nose: light - medium intensity. Explosive, complex floral aromas from fresh to dried tropical fruits
  Body/flavor: light body; complex flavors of sweet tropical fruits with vanilla notes. Amazing acid balance after nearly 30 years!
  Aftertaste: lingering.
  
  Served with Italian hazelnut torta! Kudos to Haubs-Barzen!
