  June 3, 2018 - Second stop on our eighth day in Napa Valley is to Wheeler Farms where we tasted wines from Wheeler Farms, Tor Kenward, Arrow and Branch, and Vice Versa. Sixth wine is from Arrow & Branch and it is their Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon. Which is made up of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot from Lewelling and Stagecoach Vineyards. Aged for 20 months in 70% new French oak barrels.
  
  Dark ruby red with purplish hues. Lots of dark cocoa on the attack of the nose followed up by cinnamon, black raspberries and cherries. Medium plus tannins (7.5/10) with a full body. A bit tight on the palate with blackberries, dark spices and minerality. Long finish. Drink till 2031.

  March 8, 2018 - I opened this up on day 1, it wasn't ready and I was disappointed. On day 2, it had time to develop, work out its issues and was a solid effort. The wine was easy to drink, dark in color, dark fruits of blackberry, earth tones and slight hint of chocolate. This just needs some time and I'm glad that I didn't give up on it!
