June 12, 2019 - A blend of 50% Sauvignon blanc and 50% Semillon grown in clay-limestone soils, with 40% fermented in new barrels with the balance fermented and aged in concrete. It’s the color of goldenrod and emits prodigious waves of pungent musk melon, persimmon, and grilled pineapple along with a whiff of smoky nut oil and wet stone. In the mouth, concrete aging lends texture and aging on lees gives this Bordeaux blanc silkiness and distinct creaminess. Crushed herbs, white grapefruit pith, and a rather explosive impression of spiced tea emerges on the finish. Biodynamically farmed. 13.0% ABV | Sample

April 7, 2019 - Magnificent. Rich, elegant, soignee, brocade, full. Superb for the price.

October 22, 2018 - Gave this half an hour decant, and the nose really blossomed. Loads of endearing honeysuckle, orchid, mashed pear, rich lemon curd and candied orange peel. Very lovely nose. It is medium-bodied and round. The edges are just every so gritty, which provides enhancing texture. The acid is nicely cut. Flavors hit close to the nose: honeysuckle, a big hit of pear, apricot and orange peel plus some great slate minerality. A very impressive wine.

November 16, 2017 - Cotes du Bordeaux: Rich gold color. Lovely notes of honey, lemon curd, baked apple, mixed with chalky, floral, spicy herbal notes. Creamy texture on the palate, bright acidity, this is wonderfully balanced between richness and vibrancy. Lemon curd, yellow apple, spiced apricot jam, this is delicious with complex notes of spiced tea and floral potpourri. Impressive amount of depth and complexity for a wine at this price point. 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 50% Semillon.
