June 10, 2023 - Light on tannins. Low heat. Dark berry/cherry

May 13, 2023 - Color is darker, like garnet, slight brownish hue around the miniscus. Maybe some oxidation or older wine in the blend. Aromatics dark cherry, toasty, slight vanilla. On the palate get similar tastes to the aromatics, cherry, vanilla and toasty oak. Full bodied, medium minus acid, and tannins present but not overwhelming. Overall pretty balanced but I wouldn't say this was my favorite. Something about it seemed fake or forced, maybe the method for garnering the vanilla and oak wasnt traditional.
