  August 23, 2019 - Truly surprising, how good and balanced it was, after an hour of decanting. A lovely accompaniment to quail in a cherry-sherry-pepper reduction.

  May 11, 2019 - Very new world in style, with big, ripe, sweet fruit and plenty of oak. And yet there's an unexpected minerally, sanguine edge that makes it dark and somewhat brooding. A bit sulphury too. Nice acidity. A heavy, muscular Pinot, but a bit more enigmatic and complex than many of this ilk.
