May 24, 2020 - Dark fruit and spice with a lot of verve and flavor concentration. acid plus. Long length and pleasant finish.

February 9, 2018 - The wine looks inky colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. Soft Stonefruit Flavor. Has the acid I like in a Zin without it being in your face. Starts dry and opens up to a really nice fruit finish.

    We'll likely buy this again.

November 28, 2015 - Big and bold but velvety and soft. Loads of black fruit, stewed meat, and forest floor. Well integrated tannins. Drinking well right now.

June 29, 2015 - Had over 3 days. This is a good zin. Historic vineyard. Fruit forward. Low acid. Dark berries. Full bodied. Not overdone. Pepper and spice and blackberry. I think others do this vineyard better but nothing wrong with this incarnation.

April 5, 2015 - This is not a well-integrated Zin, there is fruit-forwardness on the initial taste, then strong acids -- not well balanced. It really seems like there individual components that are fighting and not integrated. Very unusual and the year since first trying it has not helped at all -- the fruit has not stood up well. This is the first Seghesio Zin that we haven't liked!
