Community Tasting Notes 1

    February 17, 2018 - 13% alcohol, 4 g/l residual sugar, 7,5 g/l acidity. Tasted blind in VV.

Very pale, limpid yellow-green color. Remarkably inexpressive nose: no fruit or floral aromas to speak of, only something vaguely chemical or plastic and a touch of alcohol. The wine is medium-bodied, rather high in acidity and pretty dry on the palate with pretty light and thin flavors of citrus fruits, some sweeter peach-driven stone fruits and a touch of steely minerality. Overall the wine is pretty refreshing, but remarkably tasteless and dilute. You really can't speak of the length of the aftertaste, because there aren't any flavors in the finish - only rather persistent feeling of acidity.

A very tasteless, thin and dilute wine with no flavors to speak of. I was surprised to learn this was Riesling, because bar the high acidity, there were no typical characteristics of this normally rather expressive variety. Waste of money at 11,80€.
