  September 15, 2020 - It seemed like we might have missed the drink by date on this. Has a bit of a harsh taste that aerated a bit. Drank with some salami, rice crackers and Jalapeno Monterey Jack cheese. The cheese helped tame it :)

  October 22, 2017 - PnD 1/2 of the bottle let ir for 1hr. Medium semi-transparent garnet with clear rim. Smoky tarry with touch of cherry rhubarb nd bell pepper on the nose. Medium weight with chewy slightly green tannins. Tart red fruits with stemmy green note and a hint of smoke on the palate. Green over oaked lacking integration with a thin finish. Not enough fruit to indicate it will get better. Not going to convert anyone that does not like CF.
  
  2days later. Some of the greenish has dissipated and bit more integrated with fruit coming to the fore. +2pts. Winery should have held off releasing as it is not worth paying the price to see if it is going to get to a worthwhile place.
