September 23, 2023 - Elegant , sweet fruit with some balancing acids. Not particularly complex . Drink.

June 30, 2022 - A stemmy feel to the nose and a slightly reductive, ciders natural twang. A good shake helps disperse the cider. Stemmy whole bunch feel here. Crunchy bright red fruit. Still in the interesting rather than truly likeable camp. ***

September 15, 2021 - Three years on from my previous bottle, this remains youthful. A stemmy feel to the nose initially, very fragrant and lifted with some rose petal in amongst the mid red fruit. Quite full and slightly sappy sweet fruit, broad structure with decent acidity holding a line, and a savoury possibly slightly bitter-edged twang to the finish. There’s plenty to interest one here, but at the moment I can’t quite decide whether I actively like it, or am merely intrigued. Time will tell. If it performs similarly to the previous bottle, it will darken and become fuller/richer with 24hrs in the fridge. Similar after 24hrs. Very fine hazy sediment in the last part of the bottle. ***

January 13, 2021 - The 2013 vintage, much like 2011, seems to be getting better and better with a little time in the bottle. Balanced and elegant, with red berries, earth and a touch of Yamhill-Carlton AVA minerality on the finish. Great at the first pour but it really opened up after 45 minutes to an hour after uncorking it. One of the best 2013’s I’ve tasted. This wine should hold up for at least another five years+.

November 26, 2020 - Pale brick red, and very pleasant straight out of the bottle...but wow, what an hour decanting did for this! There was a nice spiciness on the palate, and went exceptionally well with a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Delicious. A treat!
