September 12, 2017 - Slightly unripe greenish color. Moderately reductive, smoky nose of gunpowder and even a bit of hard-boiled egg. As the reduction blows off, aromas of ripe yellow fruits and hints of almond start to emerge. The wine is broad and ripe on the palate with juice, round flavors of yellow stone fruits, ripe apples, stony minerality, some honeyed sweetness, a little bit of ripe cantaloupe and a bit of steel. The wine feels quite gentle with its medium-to-moderate acidity. The finish is dry, taut and a bit linear with more pronounced acidity and bright flavors of steely minerality, tart green apples, honey, some cantaloupe and a little bit of stony minerality.

A nice, bright and quite fruity white that shows good finesse despite its relative lack of acidity. Overall the brightness of the wine seems to rely more on the quite noticeable minerality than on acidity. Balanced and enjoyable effort, most likely best young and not really a wine you'd want to leave in a cellar. Priced according to its quality at 13,95€ - although close to the "too expensive for the quality"-end.
