  September 4, 2021 - Decanted for 90 minutes. This was really soft and had light finesse. worked great with the chicken Parm and acidity of the sauce. Vanilla, oak and some leather. Great Napa merlot.

  April 18, 2020 - Decanted for 90 mins as part of Barnett’s virtual tasting today. Modest legs with bright, dark red fruit and light wood. Wood shows up more on the palate but this is still fruit-driven overall. Doesn’t seem to have a lot of aging potential and while enjoyable on its own (probably better without food, or with chicken/bbq) this wasn’t a great QPR @ &70.

  January 31, 2020 - A little jammier,sweeter, and less tannic than I remembered from my initial tasting in December 2019. Still very good quality. Will sit on my remaining bottle for a while longer. I might have scored this differently if I didn't have 08 Harlan, 12 SQN Touche, and 88 Ducru Beaucaillou right before the barnett.
